We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our teams - Bluebeam.

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES

  • Design, develop, and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and reporting systems to support company-wide data-driven initiatives;
  • Build and manage ETL pipelines that integrate data from various sources into data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar);
  • Work with high-volume event streams (Kafka, Kinesis) and implement near-real-time data processing for fast, actionable insights;
  • Design and optimize cloud-native data infrastructure using AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, ELB);
  • Implement best practices for data modeling, data governance, and security within the data ecosystem;
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives;
  • Champion data initiatives across the company, optimizing pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering;
  • Strong programming skills in Go (Golang), Python, or SQL for building data pipelines and ETL workflows;
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data platforms including architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization;
  • Proven experience designing and building data lakes and data warehouses with focus on data integrity, scalability, and performance;
  • Proficiency in developing and managing ETL pipelines using modern tools and techniques for data transformation and integration;
  • Experience with high-volume event streams (Kafka, Kinesis) and near-real-time data processing solutions;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science studies ;
  • Fluent in English.

 

CONSIDERED A PLUS

  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform;
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, ELB) for data infrastructure;
  • Knowledge of data quality and observability tools.
